Quick start

You need Node.js 20 or newer and Claude Code or Codex in a terminal. Then:

npm install -g v8-advanced-prompt
v8-prompt setup

Open a new terminal, start claude or codex, type what you want the way you would say it and press Ctrl + G. Review the advanced prompt, then press Enter. Press the shortcut again right away to get your original text back. The free plan needs no account: 10 advanced prompts a week, up to 3 a day, per terminal.

Email support@v8labs.app with the subject Support request. Say what you pressed, what you saw, and paste the output of v8-prompt --version. Please do not paste prompts that contain secrets. We usually reply within 2 business days. Security findings go through the security page.
